The image framed in trailing flowers. Gouache and pen in bistre on vellum, heightened with gold. 15 x 11 cm. Framed.

Seite aus einem Livre d'heuvres, Frankreich, 15. Jh.. Miniaturmalerei mit der Darstellung einer Schutzmantelmadonna auf einer Wiese, der Hintergrund geometrisch ornamental und mit zwei Wappen ausgestaltet. Die Darstellung von Blumenranken gerahmt. Gouache und Feder in Bister auf Pergament, Gold gehöht. 15 x 11 cm. Gerahmt.
