MILCH JUG WITH PURPLE SCENE,

Höchst, ca. 1770.
Painted with a landscape in purple camaïeu, featuring a horseman, a blacksmith and an apprentice shoeing a horse. The spout and handle accentuated with gold. Underglaze blue wheel mark, press mark IN. H 16 cm. Spout and finial restored.
