Napoleon III, G. GROHE (Guillaume Grohé, Wintersheim 1808-1885 Paris), Paris ca. 1765/70.
Rosewood and various partly stained exotic woods in veneer, exquisitely inlaid with flowers, leaves, vase, cartouches, marquetry and decorative frieze. Front with door below drawer. Exquisite matte and polished gilt bronze mounts and applications. Shaped "Griotte Rouge" marble top.
