A BRONZE FIGURE OF MANJUSHRI SEATED ON A DOUBLE LOTUS THRONE.

Tibet, 15th-16th c. Height 10.7 cm. Remanants of gilding.
Bronze mit Resten von Kaltvergoldung und roter Farbe. Der Bodhisattva der Weisheit sitzt in der Padmasana-Position auf einem doppelten Lotosthron. Die Hände sind zur Dharmacakramudra geformt. Auf den Lotosblumen an seinen Schultern liegen Schwert und Buch. Unverschlossen.
