SIGNAL HORN / "OLIFANT",

Germany, mid-19th century.
Ivory, carved all around with a depiction of the hunt of a stag with dogs and hunters on horseback. The end designed as the head of a dog, with a mouth piece. 1 eyelet missing and 1 tip of the leaf missing on the sound hole. Losses and repairs.
L 56 cm.
