Meissen, late 19th century.
Opulently decorated porcelain clock, the top featuring Zeus with an eagle, the base depicting Chronos being tied up by Hephaistos. Dial with enamel cartouches. Parisian movement, striking the 1/2-hour on bell. Rocaille feet. Underglaze blue sword marks.
