18 PLATES FROM THE BERLIN COURT SERVICE OF THE PRUSSIAN ROYAL FAMILY IN A LEATHER CASE

Berlin, 1913. Maker's mark Gebrüder Friedländer.
Round plates, decorated with grapevine branches in relief. The lip is engraved WR (= Wilhelminus Rex), below a crown for Emperor Wilhelm II (1859-1941) as the King of Prussia. The back is engraved with the weight in grams and the year of origin, 1913.
Leather case made of light-brown cowhide, with closure strap and carrying handle. The cover of the case is stamped "Königliche gr. Silberkammer BERLIN" and also has various inscriptions and bears a number.
Ø 26.5 cm. Total weight 14,427 g (ca. 800 g/plate).
