CLOISONNÉ-VASE in Meiping design. On a turquoise background, large lotus flowers in yellow, red, white and combination colors, linked through fine leaf tendrils. The inside of the neck and the base are gilded. China, 2nd half of the 16th century, H 33.4 cm. Restored at the shoulder. Berti Aschmann Collection. Cf. in Meiping-Form. Auf türkisfarbenem Fond grosse, kräftige Lotosblüten in Gelb, Rot, Weiss und Mischfarben, verbunden durch feinere Blattranken. Halsinnenseite und Basis vergoldet. China, 2. Hälfte 16.Jh., H 33,4 cm. Restaurierte Stelle an Schulter.
