SECRETAIRE "A ABATTANT", Louis XV, stamped D. GENTY (Denis Genty, Master 1786) and C. WOLFF (Christophe Wolff, Master 1755), Paris circa 1760. Tulipwood and rosewood inlaid "en bois de bout" with floral bouquets, fillets and reserves. The fall-front writing surface lined inside with red, gold-stamped leather, over compartment with double door, the fitted interior with large central compartment and further compartments and drawers, gilt bronze mounts and moulded "Brèche d'Alep" top. 110x41x(open 100)x140 cm.

Rosenholz und Palisander "en bois de bout" eingelegt; Blumenbouquets, Filets und Reserven. Geschweifter, prismierter Korpus auf wellig ausgeschnittener Zarge mit kurzen, geschweiften Beinen. Abklappbare, innen mit rotem, goldgepresstem Leder bezogene Schreibplatte über Fach mit Doppeltüre. Inneneinteilung mit grossem Zentralfach, flankiert von je 3 übereinander liegenden Schubladen unter 3 grossen Fächern auf 2 Reihen. Vergoldete Bronzebeschläge. Profilierte "Brèche d'Alep"-Platte. 110x41x(offen 100)x140 cm.
