WALL HANGING "LA REMISE DES CLEFS", probably Spain or Portugal, end of 16th century. Polychrome embroidery in silk and wool. With rich armorial and floral and foliate decorated border. H 300 cm, W. 220 cm. Provenance: Swiss private collection.

wohl Spanien oder Portugal, Ende 16. Jh.
Broderie; polychrome Stickerei, Seide und Wolle. Darstellung eines knienden Mannes, einem stehenden Schlüssel darreichend, im Hintergrund Zelt mit Figuenstaffage. Reiche Bordüre mit Wappen, Karyatiden, Blumen und Blättern. Zu restaurieren. H 300 cm, B 220 cm.
