HALL CUPBOARD,Baroque, probably Erfurt circa 1720. Walnut, burlwood, cherry and local fruitwoods in veneer, very finely inlaid with figures, flowers, leaves and frieze. With stepped overhanging cornice and corresponding tall plinth and bun feet. The architectural style double door front with panels, uprights and finely carved capitals. Finely engraved brass mounts and iron lock. 192x75x208 cm. Provenance: Private collection, Germany. A similar cabinet is illustrated in: G. Nagel, Möbel, Augsburg 1991; p. 102f. (ill.134).
