MINIATURE CABINET WITH WISMUT-PAINTING, Baroque, probably South German, 17th century Wood painted on all sides with bright flowers and leaves on black ground. With salient hinged top on shaped plinth. Double door front and fitted interior with 11 drawers, 2 compartments, one with top. Fine iron lock. 24x18x31 cm. Provenance: Private collection, Basel.

Barock, wohl süddeutsch, 17. Jh.
Holz allseitig gefasst; auf schwarzem Fond bunte Blumen, Blätter und Zierfries. Rechteckiger Korpus mit vorstehendem, aufklappbarem Blatt auf profiliertem Sockel. Doppeltürige Front mit profilierter, breiter Schlagleiste. Inneneinteilung mit 11 ungleich grossen Schubladen, darüber 2 Fächer, das eine mit Blatt, auch als Beilade verwendbar. Feines Eisenschloss. 24x18x31 cm.
