PAIR OF CANDELABRAS. Berlin, 1788-1802.Maker's mark Esajas Kark Hoffmann. Curved rounded foot and smooth shaft decorated with beading. Detachable upper part with a central container shaped like a vase. Flanked by 2 curved light branches. The drip pans and nozzles also beaded. H 37 cm. Total weight: 1750 g.

Gewölbter Rundfuss mit umlaufendem Perlfries. Glatter, röhrenförmiger Schaft mit Perlfries am unteren sowie am oberen Rand. Abnehmbarer Oberteil mit zentralem, vasenförmigem Gefäss. Flankiert von 2 geschwungenen Lichtarmen. Tropfteller sowie Tüllenränder mit Perlfries. H 37 cm. Zus. 1750 g.
