RARE ENTHRONED MARY,early Gothic, France, 14th century. Carved limestone. 92x49x33 cm. With remains of painting. The nose chipped, Mary's feet missing. Inventory number in red 158.Z.

frühgotisch, Frankreich, 14. Jh.
Kalkstein behauen. Maria auf einfacher, thronartiger Bank sitzend mit einem Granatapfel in ihrer Rechten, das Jesuskind auf dem linken Knie sitzend. Es hält einen Stiegliz in der Hand. 92x49x33 cm. Mit Resten von Bemalung. Die Nasen bestossen, die Füsse Marias fehlen.
