CENTER TABLE "AUX FEMMES AILEES" WITH "PIETRA DURA" TOP,Louis XIV style, the "Pietra Dura" work from the BOTTEGHE GRANDUCALI, Florence, 17th/18th century, the furniture designs after A.C. BOULLE (Andre Charles Boulle, 1642-1732), attributed to J.E. ZWIENER (Joseph Emmanuel Zwiener, born 1849), Paris circa 1880. Red/brown tortoiseshell with engraved brass fillets in "premiere partie". The top with exceptionally fine "Pietra Dura" inlays and edged in bronze. Exceptionally fine, matte and polished gilt bronze mounts, applications and sabots. 141.5x81x78 cm. Provenance: - From an English private collection. - Sotheby's Auction on 29.10.1993 (Lot No. 70). - From a European collection.
