CONSOLE "AU DRAGONS", Regence, probably after designs by N. PINEAU (Nicolas Pineau, 1684-1754), attributed to a Paris master workshop, circa 1730. Pierced, exceptionally richly carved and gilt wood. Shaped "Breche d'Alep" top. With old inventory number 529 on leather tag. Restoration on the frame. 115x50x85 cm. Provenance: - Formerly J. Perrin, Paris. - From a German collection.

Régence, wohl nach Vorlagen von N. PINEAU (Nicolas Pineau, 1684-1754), einer Pariser Meisterwerkstatt zuzuschreiben, um 1730.
Holz durchbrochen und ausserordentlich reich beschnitzt mit Drachen, Fabelwesen, Kartuschen, Maskaronen, Blättern und Zierfries sowie vergoldet. Profilierte "Brèche d'Alep"-Platte "en arbalète" auf wellig ausgeschnittener und durchbrochener Zarge mit S-förmigen Stützen und Verbindungsstreben auf eingerollten Volutenfüssen. Mit alter Inventarnr. 529 auf Lederplakette. Restauration in der Zarge. 115x50x85 cm.
