BUREAU-PLAT,Louis XV, in the style of J. DUBOIS (Jacques Dubois, maitre 1742), Paris circa 1750/55. Tulipwood and rosewood veneer. The top lined with red leather, the frieze in "contour à l'arbalète". With 3 drawers at the front and the same but sham arrangement verso. Gilt bronze mounts and sabots. Requires some restoration. 119x74x77.5 cm. Provenance: Private collection, Basel.

Louis XV, sign. I. DUBOIS (Jacques Dubois, Meister 1742), Paris um 1750/55.
Rosenholz und Palisander gefriest sowie fein eingelegt mit Reserven und Zierfries. Rechteckiges, mit rotem, goldgepresstem Leder bezogenes Blatt auf wellig ausgeschnittener Zarge in "contour à l'arbalète" mit hohen, geschweiften Beinen. Front mit 3 nebeneinander liegenden Schubladen. Gleiche, jedoch blinde Einteilung auf der Rückseite. Reiche Bronzebeschläge und -sabots. 119x74x77,5 cm.
