PAINTED CLOCK on plinth,

Louis XV, Neuchâtel, 18th century.
Wooden case, painted yellow and decorated with flowers and leaves. Enamel dial "en cuvette" with hours in Roman numerals and minutes in Arabic numerals. 2 fine gilt hands. Movement with anchor escapement, striking the 1/2-hour on 2 bells. Fine, chased brass and bronze applications.
45x21x95 cm.
