RARE MEISSEN TEA-CADDY AND COVER WITH CHINOISERIE AND EUROPEAN RIVERSCAPES,Meissen, ca. 1725. Painted with rare scenes of Chinese in European riverscapes, and harbour scenes under a cloudy sky, accentuated in iron-red. Enamel-blue sword mark with curved guards, gilding number 51 on both pieces. H 10 cm. Provenance: - Kunsthandel Röbbig, Munich, 1986. - from a Zurich private collection.

Meissen, um 1725.
Hexagonale Balusterform mit vergoldeten Profilstegen bemalt in den vertieften Seitenflächen mit seltenen Szenen von Chinesen in europäischen Flusslandschaften und Kauffahrteiszenen unter einem bewölkten Himmel gehöht in Eisenrot. Der zylindrische Deckel mit Goldrosette in gestrichelter Randbordüre und Vergoldung an der Seite. Emailblaue Schwertermarke mit gekurvten Parierstangen in Aufglasur, Goldnummer 51. auf beiden Teilen. H 10 cm.
