SCHENAU, JOHANN ELEAZAR (Gross-Schönau 1737 - 1806 Dresden).L'Horoscope chez Cagliostro. Pen in grey over pencil preparatory drawing, with grey wash and partial watercolouring. 38 x 31 cm. Old inscription verso in pencil: J.E.Schenau, entitled and inscribed.: tres beau cartouche Louis XVI.. From the collection of Louis Galichon (Lugt 1060, verso). Gold frame. - Scattered minor foxing. With smoothed crease on right margin. Mounted verso on upper margin in passepartout. Overall good condition.

L'Horoscope chez Cagliostro. Feder in Grau über Bleistiftvorzeichnung, grau laviert und partiell aquarelliert. 38 x 31 cm. Verso mit Bleistift alt bezeichnet: J.E.Schenau, betit. u. bez.: tres beau cartouche Louis XVI.. Aus der Sammlung Louis Galichon (Lugt 1060, verso). Echtgoldrahmen. - Vereinzelt gering stockfleckig. Am rechten Rand geglättete Knickfalte. Verso am oberen Rand in das Passepartout montiert. Insgesamt guter Erhaltungszustand.
