FINE PAIR OF EMPIRE VASES 'FOND BLEU LAPIS', Paris, circa 1810.With gilt acanthus leaf handles with dolphin heads and gold decoration of continuous arabesque border on a lapis lazuli ground. H 37cm.

Form 'ovoide' mit vergoldeten Akanthusblatthenkeln mit Delphinköpfen, auf lapisblauem Grund mit radiertem Golddekor einer umlaufenden Arabeskenbordüre zwischen Palmetten und Lotusbändern um den Hals und unteren Teil des Korpus und Fuss. Auf quadratischem Sockel, vergoldet. H 37cm.
