MEISSEN KAKIEMON BEAKER FROM THE JAPANESE PALACE,Meissen, ca. 1730. Johanneum number 'N=322w'. Tall beaker shape with protruding ring, painted in the Kakiemon style. Enamel-blue sword mark, Johanneum number incised and blackened 'N=322w', potter's mark X in base ring. H 7.4 cm, D 10 cm. Small chip on the base ring. Provenance: - Christie's Geneva, Important European Porcelain, November 1985, Lot No. 120. - Kunsthandel Heinz Reichert, Munich, 1988. - from a Zurich private collection.
